Hi, I’m Imani 👋

I'm a cozy creative from the Georgia red clay so yes "y'all" 🤠 is in my vocabulary.When I'm not fulfilling my Southern belle duties, I dive headfirst into the world of human-centered design and design thinking, concocting organic ideas that breathe life into brands. As a self-proclaimed social media maven, I'm fluent in the language of memes, GIFs, and the occasional Real Housewives quip.

Having grown up in the era of social media, I'm fascinated by how brands can forge authentic, culturally relevant connections online. My knack for spotting trends and understanding digital landscapes enables me to craft strategies that foster genuine relationships between brands and their audiences.

Out of the office you can find me dancing at a live concert with both hands in the air. Whether I'm trekking through nature, soaking in the fresh air, or simply exploring the vibrant energy of city life, I'm always up for an adventure.

My Experience

  • - Direct innovative advertising campaigns for high-profile accounts such as Coca- Cola brands, Georgia Power, and FedEx, ensuring brand consistency and impactful visual storytelling.

    - Establishes and maintaining the visual style and tone for campaigns to ensure consistency across all media.

    -Works closely with clients to understand their vision and objectives, providing creative direction and strategic insights that aligned with their brand goals.

    -Successfully led a social media campaign for FedEx that resulted in a 25% increase in work scope, highlighting the campaign's significant impact and client satisfaction.

  • ONE School is an intensive portfolio program designed for black creatives to enter the advertising industry. This program included 16 weeks and 10 briefs that prepare students to create a an extensive portfolio.

    -In this program I was able to use my conceptual abilities to solve brand problems with effective story telling and cross- media design skills. I was also able to collaborate and brainstorm with others by effectively communicating ideas.

    -Became Top Student in the Atlanta Fall 2021 Cohort
